Please note that these hinges are sold as a pair, not individually, and the maximum gap between the gate frame and post is 1.25 inches. If the gap exceeds this, the gate hinges will not function.

You can then adjust the tension of the spring hinge to reach the desired angle. Additionally, you can adjust the distance between the gate and flanges by simply tightening or loosening the nut.
